Elena Castro-Oliva (she/they) is a Guatemalan-American artist originally from Greenville, SC. She is passionate about poetry, sustainable design, and Kusama mirrors (in no particular order). Her poetry has been published in places such as Rattle, Cargoes Magazine, Broad Recognition, and elsewhere. Aside from serving as reader and designer for CWC, she is a third-year member of WORD: Yale’s oldest and hypest performance poetry group. Elena is currently located in New Haven, Connecticut, and is a Junior at Yale University studying Architecture with a concentration in Design.
