Zia Tollette (she/her/hers) is a sophomore at Yale University with prospective interests in African-American Studies and Journalism from Little Rock, Arkansas. Growing up as the child of experiential, elementary level educators within marginalized communities, Zia developed an awareness and passion for issues regarding education inequality from a young age. She enjoys seeking out stories within communities of color, revealing their truth, and preserving them through modern formats. Apart from conducting interviews for CWC, Zia is involved with AIESEC International, the Living History Project, and enjoys photography, graphic design, and writing.
